| Protein Expression/Purification Manager |

Cayman is seeking candidates for the position of Manager with our Protein Expression/Purification group. The successful candidate will work independently to generate new ideas, design experiments, develop new biochemical products, and analyze complex data. Management of this group involves normal managerial tasks, such as approval of all activities, setting staff objectives, and prioritizing workloads.
Preferred minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in biochemistry or related field with 2 years of industry experience. Cloning and protein expression skills are a necessity. A solid background in protein characterization and assay development is required. The successful candidate must have the ability to prioritize work, communicate clearly and effectively, identify and resolve problems and pay attention to detail. Strong organizational and computer skills are essential.

| Associate Scientist I – Discovery Chemistry |
|
Cayman Chemical is seeking candidates for the position of Associate Scientist I with our Discovery Chemistry group. Responsibilities include synthesizing and/or purifying all Cayman chemical products. With moderate independence, he/she will perform standard procedures to fulfill production demands as well as assist in the development of new chemical products. Will participate in group projects and share duties within the Discovery Chemistry department.
Preferred minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or related field, with at least 1-2 years of relevant lab experience. Must be able to work on production and/or R&D projects with moderate independence. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and prioritize tasks. Attention to detail, good organizational skills and ability to do general lab calculations are a must.

| Associate Scientist I – Prep Sep |
|
Cayman Chemical is seeking candidates for the position of Associate Scientist I with our Prep Sep group. He/she will be responsible for synthesizing and/or purifying Cayman chemical products. Will participate in group projects and share duties within the Prep Sep department.
Preferred minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or related field, with 1-2 years of relevant lab experience or a Master's degree in Chemistry, or related field. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and prioritize tasks. Proficient in chemistry related software, i.e. ChemDraw, etc. A fundamental understanding of chemistry mechanisms and familiarity with modern analytical techniques for product purification and characterization are needed. Ability to interpret spectroscopic results, including NMR, Mass Spec, IR, UV and HPLC data is a plus.

| Interactive Designer |
|
Cayman is currently in search of a temporary consultant or regular employee for the position of Interactive Designer in the Graphic Arts Department. The company will consider both part time/home-based candidates or full time employment applicants. The Interactive Designer will be responsible for maintaining, testing, developing, and integrating a game-based web program. Additional responsibilities will include integrating creative and technical changes to the game, programming, character creation/animation, and extensive testing. Candidates interested in full time employment must be skilled/knowledgeable in design principles relating to text layout and print document creation/editing, and will be responsible for additional duties including illustration, ad and flier design. Will frequently interact with key personnel including CEO, IT staff, Graphics staff, and Marketing staff. The position will report directly to the Art Manager.
Required qualifications include Adobe Flash authoring and development experience. Must work productively in fast-paced environment on diverse projects. ActionScript and XML expertise is required, especially business systems integration. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript desired. Additional preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, and scientific and/or technical illustration background. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, and InDesign as well as basic layout skills a bonus. A portfolio of both digital and printed work is expected. Illustration, general animation, and character animation a plus.
