Scientist II, Discovery ChemistryCayman is seeking candidates for the position Scientist II. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new ideas; designing new synthetic routes and fulfilling related experiments; developing new products; analyzing various experimental data; performing relevant tests and validations; and providing final compounds within specified deadlines. Will work with minimal guidance, drawing on years of experience in the field. Preferred minimum qualifications include a MS or PhD in Chemistry with at least 10 or 5 years of relevant lab experience in multistep organic synthesis, respectively. Must work with a high level of independence, have good organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize work. Must communicate clearly and effectively. Proficient computer skills are essential, including ChemDraw.
