Ordering Information

Orders are accepted by telephone, fax, mail or electronic mail. We will accept telephone orders Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6 PM EST. All orders received by 2 PM EST will be shipped the same day if stock is available (Monday through Thursday only). Confirming purchase orders must be clearly marked to avoid possibility of duplication.

Electronic orders require an existing customer number to be processed. If you do not know your customer number, please contact our Customer Service Department to receive or confirm your institution's customer number prior to placing an electronic order. All electronic orders will be confirmed via phone, fax or electronic mail.

Foreign Customers

Cayman Chemical maintains an extensive network of distributors throughout the world. Please contact our Customer Service department for the name and address of your local distributor.

Terms

1. U.S. funds only, drawn on a U.S. Bank, VISA, Mastercard or American Express.
2. Net 30 days.
3. F.O.B. Ann Arbor, Michigan U.S.A.
4. Bank fees and wire transfer fees are not to be deducted from invoice amount.

Returns

Products cannot be returned without prior authorization from Cayman Chemical Company. Please contact our Customer Service department for return shipping instructions. Custom orders and radioactive material cannot be accepted for return credit if due to a customer's error.

Domestic Shipments

In most instances we ship Standard Overnight Delivery (not available to all locations), with delivery by 3:30 PM of the next business day. Other shipping options will be considered upon request, but can be granted only under conditions that will ensure the quality of the product.

Freight is prepaid and added to the invoice. Please inquire at the time of order for an estimate of the freight charges. If you wish us to ship collect or COD, please supply a valid account number when ordering

Canadian Shipments

In most instances transit time is two days. Please inquire for further information.

Technical Assistance

Technical assistance is available from 8am to 5:30pm EST. If inquiring about a purchased product, please note the catalog number, lot number, and date of purchase when you contact our technical staff to enable them to answer your questions quickly.

Bulk Quantities

Most of the products listed in this catalog are available in bulk quantities. Please contact our Sales Department for a quote.

Use of Research Products

The products in this catalog are intended only for laboratory research and analytical use. They are not for human or veterinary use. They should be used only by technically-qualified individuals or those under their direct supervision. Any individual working directly with these products should have free access to the applicable Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and should read and understand it completely prior to use. Please contact our Customer Service department if you require additional copies of any MSDS.

Purity Specifications

All of our products undergo extensive analysis prior to release for sale. A copy of the analytical report will be provided upon request.

Packaging Information

Our products are routinely packaged in borosilicate vials with teflon lined closures. If you require alternative packaging or product formulations, please contact our customer service department for a cost estimate.

Patent Disclaimer

Warranty and Limitation of Remedy

Cayman Chemical Company makes no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, which extends beyond the description of the chemicals herein, except that the material will meet our specifications at the time of delivery. Buyer's exclusive remedy and Cayman Chemical Company's sole liability hereunder shall be limited to refund of the purchase price of, or at Cayman Chemical Company's option, the replacement of all material that does not meet our specifications. Cayman Chemical Company shall not be liable otherwise or for incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, the costs of handling. Said refund or replacement is conditioned on Buyer giving written notice to Cayman Chemical Company within thirty (30) days after arrival of the material at its destination. Failure of Buyer to give said notice within said thirty (30) days shall constitute a waiver by Buyer of all claims hereunder with respect to said material.

Radioactive Product Information

Licensing Requirements

Possession and use of radioactive materials is regulated by law. Purchasers must possess a license issued by a governmental regulatory authority. Users of radioisotopes assume the responsibility of familiarizing themselves with all applicable regulations.

Federal Regulations

Within the United States, the use and possession of radioactive materials is governed by regulations issued by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

License Verification

We are required to verify, prior to shipment, that the purchaser is authorized to receive the type, form, and quantity of radioactive material ordered. Copies of radioactive materials licenses, amendments, and letters of certification must be mailed or faxed to us before shipment.

Availability of Radioactive Materials

Generally, our products are iodinated during the first week of each month. To ensure availability, please place your order one to two weeks in advance.
