Limit of detection: 80% B/B₀: 15 pg/ml · Sensitivity: 50% B/B₀: 90 pg/ml · Cayman’s Luminex^® CysLT Kit is the first of its kind for the measurement of CysLTs using Luminex^® xMAP^® technology. For application of this technology to the measurement of CysLT in a competitive format, microspheres have been coated with Cayman’s cysLT monoclonal antibody. The assay is based on the competition between CysLT and a CysLT-phycoerytherin conjugate (CysLT tracer) for the monoclonal antibody binding sites on the microsphere beads. After sufficient equilibration time the assays are read using a Luminex^® 100TM or 200TM analyzer.
