Description

Precellys^® 24-Dual is designed to prepare samples not only from soft to hard tissues but also from 1 mg to 5000 mg. The system allows sample preparation in 0.5 mL, 2 mL or 7 mL tubes. The Precellys^® 24-Dual is a piece of benchtop equipment dedicated to the grinding, lysis, and homogenization of biological samples. Several protocols have been developed for the grinding of difficult samples like spores of bacteria and hard tissues. It was specifically developed and designed to be used in Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) laboratories under high-throughput conditions (50-100 runs per day), cross contamination free and high efficiency. Sample preparation can simultaneously grind up to 12 tubes of 2 mL or 6 tubes of 7 mL at very high speed in retaining molecular integrity. With 3D speed motion, beads are crushing biological samples to release DNA, RNA, Protein, Drugs etc. Biological samples from soft tissues (bacteria, liver, brain, and leaf) to hard tissues (bones, corn, cereals, and hair) can be homogenized with 5 references of beads (ceramic, metal, and glass).
