Description

16-phenyl tetranor PGE₂ is a metabolically stable synthetic analog of PGE₂. 16-phenyl tetranor PGE₂ is five times more potent than PGE₂ in causing hypotension in dogs (0.1 µg/kg dose).¹ It is comparable to PGE₂ in inhibiting histamine-induced bronchoconstriction in conscious guinea pigs.¹
