Description

L-Thiocitrulline is a competitive inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase. The K_i values for the neuronal (rat) and inducible (rat aortic smooth muscle) isoforms of nitric oxide synthase were found to be 0.06 µM and 3.6 µM, respectively.¹ The IC₅₀ value for inhibition of aortic ring relaxation is approximately 25 µM.¹
