Selecting an appropriate cyclooxygenase activity assay kit will depend on the fluorometric or colorimetric readout capabilities of your research facility. Cayman’s fluorometric version provides greater sensitivity and requires smaller sample volumes compared to its colorimetric counterpart. These kits are not intended for use with plasma or serum samples.
