Screening Libraries

Cayman Chemical offers a variety of chemical libraries, useful for drug discovery and development, including plates rich in prostaglandin isoforms such as PGF-series, PGD/PGE-series, PGA/PGJ-series and miscellaneous prostanoid analogs. Screening libraries focused on fatty acids, kinase inhibitors, and epigenetic compounds are also available. Much of Cayman’s collection of high purity bio-active lipids, including prostaglandins, isoprostanes, thromboxanes, leukotrienes, lipoxins, endocannabinoids, and phosphoinositols are included in smaller (219 compound) and larger (846 compound) screening libraries.

Cayman screening libraries are available in DMSO in a 96-well format. The libraries are produced from our inventory of high-quality and high-purity compounds. Any potential screening hit may be purchased individually for activity confirmation and further analysis. Many items are also available in bulk quantities or on a custom basis at a reasonable cost.

In addition to the commercially available plates, Cayman is willing to produce custom libraries from the Cayman compound collection of over 3,000 molecules with the desired format and specifications. Structural information for our diverse collection of compounds is available free of charge for download and may be used for virtual screening and hit-seeking.

Epigenetics Screening Library (96-Well)

This screening library contains 54 small molecules that are known to modulate the activity of a variety of epigenetic ‘writers and erasers’, including methyltransferases, demethylases, histone acetyltransferases, and histone deacetylases. Also represented in the library are inhibitors of epigenetic ‘reader’ proteins, such as acetylated histone binding proteins. The compounds are supplied in a 96-well Matrix tube rack format as 10mM stocks in DMSO. The composition of the library will always vary somewhat depending upon our inventory.
