Cayman is leading the way in Cannabinoid research!

Endocannabinoids

Nature’s own activators of cannabinoid (CB) receptors include 2-Arachidonoyl Glycerol, Arachidonoyl Ethanolamide, 9-Octadecenamide and many additional cannabinoid ligands. Click here for a complete list of our Endocannabinoid products.

Synthetic Cannabinoids

Synthetic cannabinoid analogs activate cannabinoid receptors with greater potency and selectivity than endocannabinoids. Cayman offers potent, selective synthetic cannabinoids as well as their metabolites. Mass spec and forensic standards include JWH 018 (solution), JWH 073 (solution), WIN 55212-2, HU-210 and (±)-CP 47,497 (solution). Click here for a complete list of synthetic cannabinoids and their metabolites.

Cannabinoid Research Tools

Cayman provides inhibitors, assay kits, antibodies, and recombinant proteins for research purposes. These include Monoacylglycerol Lipase inhibitors, inhibitor screening kits, CB receptor antibodies, and additional potent inhibitors.

Spice Wars

“Spice blends” are dried plant materials adulterated with synthetic cannabinoids that are sold as herbal incense with the purpose of mimicking the psychotropic effects of Cannabis sativa. The synthetic drugs, which are more potent than THC, have unknown side effects and, to date, are not detectable in urine. For more information, download the Spice Wars flier. This flyer summarizes what is known about Spice blends and profiles Cayman’s efforts to develop products and methods to aid the forensic analysis of synthetic cannabinoids.
