Kirk M. Maxey, MD

MD University of Michigan, BS Chemistry Colorado State University
After receiving his degree in organic chemistry from Colorado State, Dr. Maxey worked as a medicinal chemist at the Upjohn Company in Kalamazoo. He entered medical school at The University of Michigan in 1980 and after graduation dedicated his full attention to Cayman Chemical, a research biochemical company that he started while still a student.
Dr. Maxey has been a consultant and expert witness for Alcon and Pfizer as well as a contributing editor and reviewer for Prostaglandins and Other Lipid Mediators.

Jeffrey Johnson, Ph.D.
- Vice President Biochemistry
Ph.D. Biochemistry, North Dakota State University
Joined Cayman in 1993 as a Research Scientist. Jeffrey has worked in the capacity of Biochemistry Manager and Director of Technical Marketing and Services.
Promoted in September of 2003 to the position of Vice President of Biochemistry, Jeff is responsible for the technical direction of current and long range objectives for the biochemistry division and ensures the goals for product and profitability are met.

Shannon M. Stacey

BS Chemistry, University of Michigan
Joined Cayman in 1994 as a Lab Assistant in our Quality Assurance Department. In 1997 Shannon was promoted to Manager of Quality Assurance before transferring to the Technical Information Department where she worked as a Technical Writer.
In May of 2004 Shannon was promoted to Vice President which includes managing our GMP QA and QC, Safety and Regulatory Affairs, and Technical Information groups.

Tamara L. French
- Vice President Operations
Tamara joined Cayman in 1995 as the Manager of Information Technology, and was later promoted to Vice President of Operations. She is responsible for overseeing all construction, building acquisition and maintenance, site planning, and development coordination.

Brenda Manley, CPA
- Chief Financial Officer
BA Accounting, Madonna University
Brenda began her career at Arthur Andersen and moved into the middle market clientele with Plante & Moran, LLP. Her expertise is Tax with a focus in the Manufacturing area. Brenda accepted the CFO position in 2003 and is responsible for the overall financial functions of the company.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, she has served on the MACPA Legislative and Administrative Subcommittee and as a Board Member for the Ann Arbor Convention and Visitors Bureau.
