The Molar Mass and Mass Percent Composition Calculator from Cayman Chemical allows scientists to quickly and accurately determine the Molar mass and Mass percent composition of any chemical compound from its linear Molecular formula while maintaining the correct number of significant digits. The molar mass and mass percent composition calculator can recognize very complex molecular formulas (like polymers or hydrated molecules), small molecules, salts, or simple one to two atom formulas. In addition to molar mass and elemental percent composition, the molar mass, and mass percent composition calculator will also return the inputted molecular formula in Hill notation.

This mass spectrometry tool developed by Dr. Robert Murphy allows researchers to calculate exact mass, ion abundance, molecular weight, and elemental composition of lipids. It can be browsed by class and acyl chains, calculates the masses of different ions and adducts, and includes a search feature by entering the nominal m/z of ions in both polarities.

Currently, the database contains item number, item name, formula weight, molecular formula, CAS number, and the 2D chemical structure.
