Cayman's MitoCheck® Mito Stess Test (ACU format) is designed to measure oxygen consumption rate (OCR) and extracellular acidification (ECA) using MitoXpress® Xtra and pH-Xtra, respectively. OCR and ECA measurements occur simultaneously, and in real time under tightly controlled atmospheric conditions using open-flow respirometry.1,2,3,4 Included in this kit are the control compounds oligomycin (Complex V inhibitor), FCCP (uncoupler, increases OCR), and antimycin A (inhibits OCR) for easy assessment of mitochondrial health. This assay has been designed to work exclusively with the BMG LABTECH CLARIOstar® microplate reader equipped with dual injection ports, TRF detection, and ACU.

Needed but not supplied: Please download the kit booklet to verify if UltraPure Water (Milli-Q or equivalent) or any other components are needed for this assay.
