New Drug Monograph: ADB-FUBIATA

Monographs

Several new synthetic cannabinoids have recently emerged among the recreation drug supply internationally, seemingly as replacements after a synthetic cannabinoid class-wide ban implemented by China in July 2021 which included most traditional indole/indazole carboxamide structural scaffolds. This NPS Discovery Report documents the newly identified synthetic cannabinoid ADB-FUBIATA confirmed using Cayman's reference standard. Little to no information regarding ADB-FUBIATA is currently available, specifically regarding activity and potency. Scientists at Cayman Chemical and the CFSRE developed a name for this substance and plan for naming related analogs, using “ATA” to represent the acetamide linker compared to prior “CA” used for a traditional carboxamide linker.
