The Cayman Spectral Library is a free, searchable GC-MS spectral database that contains 70eV EI mass spectral data of more than 2,750 of Cayman Chemical's emerging forensic drug standards. The library is curated by Cayman’s own forensic team from internal testing of newly synthesized novel psychoactive substances (NPS) added to our catalog as analytical standards. We routinely expand this reference library to include spectra for new and emerging drugs of abuse, releasing updates to the Cayman Spectral Library 2-4 times per year. The library is one of the many free resources offered by Cayman to assist the forensic community in the screening and identification of unknown substances.
Updates to the Cayman Spectral Library are published by Cayman first. You can download the latest version directly here but you first need to log in or register for an account. You can do this by clicking the button below. A record of the latest version updates and release date can be found in the change log at the bottom of this page. The latest library update will need to be downloaded and installed prior to use.
