    Pyrazine-2-thio carboxamide is a synthetic intermediate useful for pharmaceutical synthesis. Like the related pyrazinamide, pyrazine-2-thio carboxamide has mycobacteriostatic and mycobacteriocidal activities in vitro, suggesting that it might be an effective antituberculosis drug.1
