    Product Description

    NB-598 is an inhibitor of squalene epoxidase (IC50s = 2 and 0.75 nM for dog liver and human microsomal enzymes, respectively).1 It selectively inhibits cholesterol synthesis over free fatty acid, triglyceride, and phospholipid synthesis in HepG2 cells at 1 µM. NB-598 (10 mg/kg per day) reduces serum cholesterol levels in dogs.
