    Product Description

    20-hydroxy Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) is a metabolite of 20-HETE (Item No. 90030) and PGE2 (Item No. 14010).1,2 It inhibits IFN-γ-induced kynurenine production in THP-1 cells and primary human monocytes (IC50s = 7.4 and 11.2 µM, respectively).3 20-hydroxy PGE2 (1 µM) induces lipid accumulation and lipid droplet formation in primary human mesenchymal stem cell-derived adipocytes.4 Intra-arterial infusion of 20-hydroxy PGE2 increases cortical and medullary blood flow in rat kidneys.5 Serum levels of 20-hydroxy PGE2 are decreased in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.6
