    UK 383367 is a potent inhibitor of bone morphogenetic protein 1 (BMP1; IC50 = 44 nM).1,2 It is more than 200-fold selective for BMP1 over a panel of matrix metalloproteinases. UK 383367 is effective in a cell-based model of collagen deposition is very effective at penetrating human skin in vitro.2
