    Aminophenazone is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory compound.1 It decreases acetic acid-induced writhing in mice (ED50 = 46 mg/kg, s.c.) and reduces inflammation in a rat model of paw edema when administered at a dose of 48.2 mg/kg. Formulations containing aminophenazone have previously been used in the treatment of pain.
