    Product Description

Fosmidomycin is an antibiotic originally isolated from culture broths of bacteria of the genus Streptomyces that inhibits DOXP reductoisomerase, a key enzyme in the non-mevalonate pathway of isoprenoid biosynthesis.1 Fosmidomycin is active against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and the human malarial parasite P. falciparum (IC50 = 290-370 nM).2

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
