    Product Description

Thromboxane (TX) synthase catalyzes the conversion of prostaglandin H2 to TXA2, which is a potent vasoconstrictor and inducer of platelet aggregation. The enzyme has been cloned from a variety of species including human, pig, rat, and mouse and has a molecular weight of approximately 60,000.1,2,3,4,5 Northern blot analysis reveals that the gene is expressed in lung, kidney and spleen.4,5
