    Product Description

    Prostaglandin D synthase (hematopoietic-type) (H-PGDS) inhibitor I is an inhibitor of H-PGDS (IC50 = 32 nM for the human enzyme).1 It is selective for H-PGDS over lipocalin-type PGDS, microsomal prostaglandin E synthase-1 (mPGES-1), COX-1, COX-2, and 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO; IC50s = >10,000 nM for all). H-PGDS inhibitor I (1 or 10 mg/kg) inhibits PGD2 (Item No. 12010) production in vivo in rat spleen. It completely inhibits allergen-induced airway hyperresponsiveness in an ovine model of asthma.
