    7-Diethylamino-3-(4-maleimidophenyl)-4-methylcoumarin is a thiol-reactive fluorescent probe.1 It displays excitation/emission maxima of 387/468 nm, respectively, and fluorescence intensity increases when bound to cysteine residues.2
