Convulxin is a toxin that was first isolated from rattlesnake venom. It activates the collagen receptor glycoprotein VI (GPVI) on platelets and initiates blood clotting.1,2 Convulxin is used to study signaling through GPVI and to characterize platelet function.3,4,5
