    Product Description

    Docosapentaenoic Acid-d5 (DPA-d5) contains five deuterium atoms at the 21, 21, 22, 22 and 22 positions. It is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of DPA (Item No. 90165) by GC- or LC-MS. DPA is an ω-3 fatty acid found in fish oils. It is a minor constituent of the total serum unsaturated fatty acids in humans, ranging from 0.1 to 1%, and increases on dietary supplementation.1
