    MBCQ is an inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5; IC50 = 19 nM).1 It is selective for PDE5 over PDE1, PDE2, PDE3, and PDE4 (IC50s = >100 µM for all). It induces relaxation of isolated porcine coronary arteries precontracted with prostaglandin F (PGF; EC50 = 190 nM).
