    Product Description

Tipranavir is a potent, orally bioavailable nonpeptidic HIV aspartyl protease inhibitor (Ki = < 1 nM) that prevents cleavage and thus activation of functional HIV cleaved proteins.1,2 Formulations containing tipranavir, in combination with other HIV treatments, are effective against multidrug resistant viruses and are used in the treatment of HIV infection progression in patients who have not responded well to initial treatments.3

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
