    Product Description

    Fosamprenavir is a prodrug form of the HIV-1 protease inhibitor amprenavir (Item No. 15369).1 It is converted to amprenavir by alkaline phosphatase in the intestinal epithelium. Formulations containing fosamprenavir have been used in the treatment of HIV infections.
