Hydrochlorothiazide impurity C is a potential impurity found in commercial hydrochlorothiazide preparations.1 Hydrochlorothiazide (Item No. 21304) is a thiazide diuretic that inhibits the apical membrane sodium chloride cotransporter in the distal and collecting duct nephron segments.2,3,4
