    Diphtheria toxoid is formaldehyde inactivated form of diphtheria toxin that is non-specifically cross linked and subject to rearrangement.1 Formulations containing diphtheria toxoid have been used as adjuvents in vaccines to produce immunity to diphtheria, the disease caused by C. diphtheriae infection.2
