C18 Galactosylceramide is a naturally occurring sphingolipid that has been found in the cerebellum of rats and humans.1,2 It is selectively localized with cholesterol over potassium, sodium, or phosphocholine in rat cerebellum white matter.1 [Matreya, LLC.
