    Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) is a peptide hormone produced in the hypothalamus that is secreted in a pulsatile fashion and stimulates the release of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone.1 The free acid form of GnRH is biologically inactive.2
