    LAU-159 is a positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of α6β3γ2 subunit-containing GABAA receptors.1 It selectively increases GABA-induced currents in X. laevis oocytes expressing α6β3γ2 over α1β3γ2, α2β3γ2, α3β3γ2, α4β3γ2, and α5β3γ2 subunit-containing receptors at 10 μM.
