    Product Description

Imidocarb is an antiprotozoal agent.1 It is active against the protozoan parasite B. bovis (IC50 = 0.87 µg/ml).2 Imidocarb (1.2 mg/kg) eliminates parasites in blood in a splenectomized lamb model of B. ovis infection and increases survival when administered at a dose of 2.4 mg/kg prior to infection.3 Formulations containing imidocarb have been used in the veterinary treatment of babesiosis and other protozoal infections.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
