    Histone H1-derived peptide is a substrate for the Leishmania complex between Cdc2-related kinase 3 (CRK3) and cyclin CYC6 (CRK3/CYC6).1 It is phosphorylated by CRK3/CYC6 and has been used in high-throughput screening assays for the identification of CRK3/CYC6 inhibitors.
