    Product Description

Oxychlororaphine is a phenazine microbial metabolite that has been found in a variety of bacteria and has anticancer, antibacterial, and antifungal activities.1,2 It is cytotoxic to A549, HeLa, and SW480 cancer cells (IC50s = 32-40 μM).1 Oxychlororaphine halts the cell cycle at the G1 phase and induces apoptosis in A549 cells. It is active against Streptomyces bacteria and T. mentagrophytes, E. floccosum, C. albicans, M. audouini, and B. dermatitidis fungi when used at concentrations ranging from 12.5 to 50 ppm.2
