    AOCS Long-chain Fatty Acid Methyl Ester Standard Mixture 2 contains two saturated, one monounsaturated, and two polyunsaturated fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs). It is intended for use as a reference standard for the quantification of these long-chain fatty acids in linseed, perilla, hempseed, and rubber seed oils, among others, by GC-FID or GC-MS. This mixture is supplied in an amber ampule in which the headspace has been purged with argon to prevent lipid oxidation. [Matreya, LLC. Catalog No. 1085]
