Product Description
AOCS Medium- and Long-chain Fatty Acid Methyl Ester Standard Mixture 1 contains six saturated, one monounsaturated, and one polyunsaturated fatty acid methyl ester (FAME). It is intended for use as a reference standard for the quantification of these medium- and long-chain fatty acids in coconut, palm kernel, babassu, and ouri-ouri oils, among others, by GC-FID or GC-MS. This mixture is supplied in an amber ampule in which the headspace has been purged with argon to prevent lipid oxidation. [Matreya, LLC. Catalog No. 1088]
