    Product Description

    AOCS Medium- and Long-chain Fatty Acid Methyl Ester Standard Mixture 2 contains three saturated, two monounsaturated, and two polyunsaturated fatty acid methyl esters (FAMEs). It is intended for use as a reference standard for the quantification of these medium- and long-chain fatty acids in lard, beef tallow, mutton tallow, and palm oil, among others, by GC-FID or GC-MS. This mixture is supplied in an amber ampule in which the headspace has been purged with argon to prevent lipid oxidation. [Matreya, LLC. Catalog No. 1089]
