    Product Description

    Cardol monoene is a phenol that has been found in cashew nut shell liquid and has diverse biological activities.1,2,3,4 It inhibits α-glucosidase in a cell-free assay (IC50 = 14.32 nM).2 Cardol (15 µg/ml) inhibits LPS-induced IL-6 and IL-8 production in HepG2 cells.4 It inhibits T. brucei and P. falciparum replication in cell-free assays (EC50s = 0.7 and 12.4 µg/ml, respectively).3
