Laminin (925-933) is a peptide fragment corresponding to the laminin β1 chain.1 It binds to the laminin receptor when used at a concentration of 1 mg/ml. Laminin (925-933) stimulates the attachment of HT-1080 and CHO cells to culture plates when used at concentrations of 100 and 300 µg/ml. It induces chemotaxis of, as well as inhibits chemotaxis induced by full-length laminin, but not fibronectin, in B16/F10 murine melanoma cells. Laminin (925-933) conjugated to an agarose hydrogel backbone enhances neurite outgrowth in isolated chick embryo dorsal root ganglia and PC12 cells.2
