    Cimbuterol is an agonist of β-adrenergic receptors (β-ARs).1,2 It has been used as a standard for the simultaneous detection of multiple veterinary residues in commercial animal meat by LC-MS/MS.1 Cimbuterol has been used illicitly to promote growth and improve feed efficiency in livestock.
