    3-Acetyl betulin is a pentacyclic triterpenoid and derivative of the cholesterol biosynthesis inhibitor betulin (Item No. 11041).1,2 It is an intermediate in the synthesis of various lupane and germanicane triterpenes and saponins with anticancer activity.
