    Product Description

    CTS-1027 is an inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs).1 It is selective for MMP-2, MMP-9, and MMP-13 (Kis= 0.22, 0.55, and 0.52 nM, respectively) over MMP-3 and MMP-1 (Kis= 9.3 and 590 nM, respectively). CTS-1027 (10 mg/kg) reduces hepatocyte apoptosis and bile infarcts and increases survival in a mouse model of bile duct ligation-induced cholestatic liver injury.2
