    Acebilustat is an inhibitor of leukotriene A4 (LTA4) hydrolase, the rate-limiting enzyme in LTB4 synthesis.1 It reduces the transmigration of polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMNs) from an epithelial monolayer to airway supernatant derived from sputum isolated from patients with cystic fibrosis when used at a concentration of 1 µM.2
