    Product Description

POMHEX is a prodrug form of the β-enolase, also known as enolase-3, inhibitor HEX.1 It is converted to HEX by intracellular carboxylesterases and selectively reduces the cell density of ENO1-/- D-423MG glioblastoma cells (IC50 = 38 nM) over ENO1-overexpressing D-423MG cells and LN-319 astrocytoma cells expressing wild-type ENO1 (IC50s = 604 and 2,148 nM, respectively). POMHEX decreases cell density in normoxic and hypoxic growth conditions in ENO1-/- D-423MG cells (IC50s = 79 and 201 nM, respectively).
