    Product Description

    Mescaline-d4 (hydrochloride) (Item No. 34432) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of mescaline (Item No. 11950) by GC- or LC-MS. Mescaline is categorized as a phenethylamine.1 It has been found in peyote cacti (L. williamsii). Mescaline induces the head-twitch response (HTR) in mice, indicating hallucinogenic potential.2 Mescaline-d4 is regulated as a Schedule I compound in the United States. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
