    D-Ornithine is an enantiomer of the non-proteinogenic amino acid L-ornithine (Item No. 30779).1 It can be converted to 2,4-diaminopentanoic acid by ornithine 4,5-aminomutase (4,5-OAM) in Clostridium.2
