    Vitexin-4''-O-glucoside is a flavonoid glycoside and major component of C. pinnatifida that has antioxidant activity.1 It reduces tertbutyl hydroperoxide-induced DNA damage, lipid peroxidation, and cell death in ECV304 cells when used at concentrations ranging from 16 to 128 µM.
